To be fair to Malaysians, only SOME Malaysians have a real bad attitude problem. These people have problem attitudes no matter what their socio-economic status. It's just that the richer ones are better able to show off their attitude.
turn signals = non existent.
change lanes without looking
cross road without looking
drive car while putting make up on
drive car while shaving
drive car while smsing
speed up when someone indicates they want to turn into your lane
drive very close behind the car infront (dont allow gaps, or else someone else may squeeze in)
red lights dont apply to motorbikes
sometimes, redlights dont apply to cars...
No U-turn means, can lah!
roundabouts = free for all, any lane can do
ambulance = noisy van (ignore)
police escorts VIP = quickly move aside and giveway
kancil n protons can go at 180km/h
luxury japanese car (honda, toyota), free pass to stay on RIGHT lane.
if there is an exotic infront of you, take out the camera and start snapping/recording while tailgating. For good pics and vids, drive as close as possible.
kids : press CROSSING button as often as possible
busses/lorries : can also overtake at 150km/h and squeeze thru traffic like a kancil.
Even polis can sms while riding a motorcycle!
rear seat belts : what rear seatbelts?
kids : stand on rear seats and look at cars behind
helmets : not needed on FRIDAY! or anyday if you're outside of KL!
slow down when you see an accident on the other side of the highway
everyone stay on right lane
go into smart tag even if you dont have a smart tag... (maybe ... just maybe it'll open magically!)
lorong tunai toll .... 1 booth = 2 lanes queing!
polis : do roadblocks during peak hours!
DBKL/alam flora : cut trees and do maintanence at blind corners
JKR: do roadworks at blind corners ...
for the 2 things above, put TRAFFIC CONE 1 meter from where the work is being done!
polis: completely stop highway traffic to a standstill if some VIP is about to enter the highway. (I nearly crashed because of this...)
