Bangladesh Vs England 28th match World Cup 2011 11 Mar Live

England will take on Bangladesh in the 28th game of the Cricket World Cup to be played at the ZAC Stadium in Chittagong. England have had an up and down kind of a tournament and have won two, tied one and lost one. Interestingly, their win came against the South Africans and the loss against Ireland, which means that they have five points from four games and with a good chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals.

In fact, if the English side can beat Bangladesh, they will be through to the quarter-finals. On the other hand, Bangladesh is clearly struggling in the tournament which they had gone in with a decent chance of getting to the quarter-finals. They started with a loss to India, before edging out Ireland in a close game. This was followed by the match against West Indies, which was one of those that they had been expected to win or run the opponents close.

They were, instead, bowled out for 58 and lost the game rather easily. This means that the Bangladeshis now have 2 points from three games and have matches against Netherlands and South Africa to go after this. While they can be expected to beat Netherlands, the major question is whether they can win at least one of the remaining ones, including this one. If they do lose this one, then they would be left with no option but to win the remaining two games, which is a task ask.

And even then, with six points and a huge loss for them, it will be difficult for them to get through to the quarter-finals.

England will be without two of their most important players in the side. Kevin Pietersen has been ruled out of the tournament due to a hernia issue whereas Stuart Broad also suffered from an injury and that means that the side will now need to play replacements. Eoin Morgan will come into the side in place of Pietersen which also means that Ravi Bopara could be opening the innings. However, the bigger question mark is whether Paul Collingwood will get a game in this match.

The other replacement will be the inclusion of Ajmal Shehzad, in place of Broad. Shehzad had replaced him earlier as well when Broad was injured. England should be the favourites in this game but only marginally, given that the game will be played in Bangladesh

watch Bangladesh Vs ireland live streaming,8th ODI Match - Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur On Feb 25, 2011 from 09:30 Local | 03:30 GMT | 09:30 Bangladesh take on Ireland in the ninth game of the World Cup on February 25. The match will be played at the Shere Bangla Stadium in Mirpur in Dhaka and will see the two teams fight it out for ultimate glory – given that they are the lowly ranked sides. This is of course, not to say that Bangladesh will not be the favourites. Given that the game is being played at home for Bangladesh under the hot and muggy conditions and the fact that the track will help the spinners, it makes Bangladesh favourites to win this game. However, it will not be too easy. Click for Live Score Card of Bangladesh Vs Ireland For one, Ireland has a decent side and possesses the ability to fight it out amongst the best of the sides, in much the same manner as the Netherland side did against England. On the top of it, one senses that Ireland has a better bowling attack than the Dutch side and while it is not full of spinners, it will need some good batting to get the better of the likes of Boyd Rankin. Having said that, the interesting bit is that their batting is doing rather well in recent times as a unit. They may not have too many individual stars, but the Irish batsmen contribute well as a team. In the two warm-up games, there were contributions from everywhere – including the likes of Ed Joyce, William Porterfield, Alex Cussack and some of the others who managed to get the big scores. As compared to this, Bangladesh also has a decent line-up. the batting in the previous game against India was good enough to take the runs off the opposition bowlers and they got to more than 280 in the match against India. It is the Bangladeshi bowling that needs to have a look at how they need to go about their business. The pace bowling was so ragged in the game against India that Shakib al Hasan had criticised the bowlers and one would have thought that they are missing Mashrafe Mortaza. Of course, one also senses that it will be foolish to drop the pacemen after just one failure and another chance against a side like Ireland could be afforded to get their confidence back. The key bowler, to me, is Abdur Razzaq who will look to spin a web around the Irish bowlers in the game.

New Zealand started their world cup 2011 campaign with win over Ireland on the other side while Kenya cricket team went down to West Indies in their world cup warm up match.

Performance of New Zealand is not that good from quite some time and losing to India 5-0 and to Bangladesh 4-0 is not old too, good thing about coming to world cup is that they played one of the better teams participating in the 2011 World cup cricket, Pakistan. Hence they are better prepared then Kenya. New Zealand batsman Brendon McCullum which is their best known and aggressive player needs to play a long inning to build up lost confidence before they take on big cricket teams in WC 2011. Other Kiwi batsmen to watch out for are Martin Guptill, Jesse Ryder, Ross Taylor and James Franklin in the second world cup match between NZ and Kenya on Sunday. New Zealand vs Kenya Highlights ICC Cricket World Cup 2011

On the other side Kenya had dream run in cricket WC few years back when they reached the quarter final stages of ICC world cup. But their overall record is not that good; they are not playing with test playing nations this much. In the name of International cricket practice they played against Ireland and Afghanistan cricket teams and with West Indies in WC warm up match. Kenya cricket team must be hopping to get best out of their best players Collins Obuya and Steve Tikolo to catch up with the Kiwi cricket team. These batsmen should play long inning as when you compare the bowling sides of these teams, New Zealand are far ahead, so they have to put on some runs to get best out of their own bowlers.
