Haryana Board (HBSE) class 8th, 12th & Open result today

Students of Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) are going to have a busy morning today as the board would release the results of class 8th, 12th and Haryana Open School results today at around 7:00 am today i.e. 9th June. Board has already announced the results of class 10th where students had to spend lot of time on their computers to check their results as the board official website stopped working due to the heavy load on the server.

The board is now about to release the results of class 8th, 12th and open school on the same which might land up the students in the same situation, however students can check the results on various results portals as well. S C Ahluwali, GM of BSNL, made the official announcement before the declaration of results that students can the results via BSNL mobile & landline. To get the results via SMS of class 8th type HR08, for class 12th type HR12 and for Open school type HOS and send to 56666 from their BSNL mobile for which they will be charged Rs. 2 or call 12501122 from the BSNL landline to get the instant results.

Earlier, girls again left the boys behind in the class 10th results whether it is the passing percentage of bagging the top spots in the merit list. The passing percentage of the girls were impressive 5 percent higher than the boys, also the top 4 spots were secured by the girl students from different districts. The wait is about to get over to see whether the boys would be break the jinx and leave the girls behind in class 8th and 12th results.

EAMCET 2011 results scheduled today

About 3,35,794 candidates who appeared in the Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance (EAMCET) of this year and anxiously waiting for the admissions into various Engineering and Medical institutes in Andhra Pradesh will be getting their performance record today as the Andhra Pradesh board (APSCHE) is all geared up to release the results of the said entrance today at around 9:00 am. Around 2,70,022 candidates appeared for the Engineering Stream where as 65,772 appeared for the Medical Stream.

This year the EAMCET exam was designed after taking some inspiration from IIT where some deep understanding of basics & high IQ level was required for the prompt & accurate resolution of the questions. As per the experts, there were around 17 questions in engineering test which were hard to crack and required high level of analytical skills. On the other hand, medical exam was surrounded by the allegations of wrong questions in the test as 6 questions in code A which were 42, 49, 56, 58, 60 and 69 were claimed as wrong where as only 3 were accepted as wrong by the JNTU authorities who are responsible for conducting the exam.

There has been no official update so far on how the marks have been given for the questions which contained errors. Perhaps, all the resolutions of the queries will be provided with the declaration of result. Students can check these results on the official website of JNTU and also on the various results portals, when published after 9:00 am.

Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) 12th class result 2011 announced

The wait for about 2,67,953 anxious students who appeared in the class 12th examinations conducted by Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) is over as the latter has announced the results for the year 2011 with the passing percentage of 72.71 where girls have yet again kept the trend going and have left the boys behind by scoring 81.89 passing percentage compared to 66.21% of boys.

PSEB chairman Dr. Dalbeer Singh Dhillon confirmed that the results have been declared and will be uploaded on the official website of PSEB during midnight after which students can check their results by 7:00 am in the morning where as the merit list containing the names of 271 students has already been uploaded. These results can be checked on the results portal of PSEB on http://www.pseb.ac.in/Result.aspx, when published completely. Students can also get the results on SMS after typing PSEB12(space)Roll Number and send it to 56263.

Ludhiana district secured the first place where as Hoshiyarpur and Amritsar district did good to secure the second and third position respectively in the state. These results were earlier scheduled to release on 4th and then 5th June, however postponed as PSEB wanted to be extra cautious to not to repeat the blunder committed last year where there was a major discrepancy in the results.

UP Board Class 12th (Intermediate) result 2011 today

The biggest examining body in the world, Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education is all set to release the results of 20,56,678 students who appeared in the intermediate examinations conducted this year at around 9,000 centres across Uttar Pradesh. State information secretary, Prabha Tripathi made the official statement earlier that the results would be declared on 6th June'2011 and students can also register themselves by their roll number to get their respective results on email.

There is a substantial increment of 5 lakh students who appeared in the intermediate examinations this year as 20,56,678 students took the exams this year compared to 15,36,949 last year i.e. 2010.

These results can be checked on various results sites and also on the official results portal of UP board on http://upresults.nic.in after 12:30 pm today. In the absence of internet services, students can get their results on SMS, for which type UP12(space)Roll Number and send to 56263.

The results of UP board high school examinations (class 10th) conducted this year would be declared on June 10 as per official update on the board site.

Bihar Board (class 12th) Intermediate result 2011 coming today

Around 20 lakh students appeared in the Matric and Intermediate examination held this year under the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), where results 9.31 lakh students appeared in matric exams was declared on May 25, Intermediate results for 10.69 lakh students are expected to be released today by BSEB at around 1 PM to clear off the results anxiety of lakhs of students.

BSEB chairman Rajmani Prasad Sinha, earlier confirmed while addressing the media that class 12th (Intermediate) results would be declared by the may end, however there was no trace. The board would now be declaring the Science & Commerce stream results today and Arts stream results shall be followed soon. These results can be checked on various results portals and official site of BSEB on http://biharboard.bih.nic.in, when declared.

In the matric examinations for which the results were announced earlier, total number of 6.21 lakh passed out of total 9.31 lakh students taking the passing percentage to around 67 where girls secured a better passing percentage than boys, however only 12 girls made it to the top scorers list where as 29 boys got their name registered in the list.

West Bengal Board (WBCHSE) class 12th results 2011 today

D-day for about 6.38 lakh anxious students is here as the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) is expected to publish the General (new & old syllabus), vocational and external examination results of class XII today at around 11 am as per the official update the website of WBCHSE.

The board will also publish the list of top 20 students taking some learning from the Madhyamik board which took the initiative to start the process after year 2005. Also, the students this year would be awarded with grades on a 7 point scale leaving behind the 5 point scale which was followed till last year. The marks along with the grades would find its place on the mark sheets on the students.

These results can be checked on the official results portal of WBCHSE on http://wbresults.nic.in, when published. To check the results via, type WB12(space)roll number and send to 56505 (BSNL), 56730 (Vodafone), 543212222 (Airtel), 56506 (Reliance) and 55456 (Idea).

Schools would be able to collect the mark sheets of their respective students from the board offices an hour before the declaration of the results on the web.
