Belize is located in what is classified as the Western Caribbean. Belize lies in between the countries of Honduras, Mexico, and Guatemala in Central America.

Belize is known for having an eclectic array of wildlife both on top of and under the Caribbean Sea. Belize City offers some great exploration opportunities for those who are adventurous. One can tube down the lazy river and view primates, fowl, and reptiles of all shapes, sizes, and species. Take a trip to the zoo and Mayan Ruins, or dive into the crisp ocean blue and swim alongside some of the world’s most beautiful underwater creatures.

Despite the wonderful things that Belize City has to offer, it still is a developing nation. The people of the country are in very good spirits and starting conversations with the natives is very easy to do without any hassles or hustles. The people of Belize speak excellent English and are very diplomatic. The infrastructure of the city is not that great, and the poverty that one may witness in this port may sprout a sensitive spot in your heart.

Belize City is a nice tropical port to visit and has become more popular with cruise itineraries with different cruise lines over the recent years. Belize is rich in culture and Caribbean flare. Take a cruise to Belize and see that this hidden best kept secret is worth the excursion! Your ship awaits, 'Bon Voyage!'
