Pa J's gambling paid off for him last weekend (unfortunately, more encouragement for the vice). As such, the family was treated to dinner at a restaurant. Over a dish of fried belachan kang kong, 5th Brother J - the keeper of bird and fish - turned to us and:

Bro J: Eh, I set him free.
Y&J: The arowana!
Bro J: Yah... I promised him mah.
Y&J: ... [but figures it has something to do with the whispered deal between the fish and Bro J for Pa J to strike 4D]
Bro J: It's a promise. Must keep.
Y&J: Where did you release him into?
Bro J: XYZ Reservoir. [smiles, and whips out his mobile phone to show us the video of the fish swimming in the water] See. I walk and follow that fella all around. Luckily no one see except my friend. He jun-jun was there fishing.
Y&J: Isn't that also illegal at a reservoir?
Bro J:Yah lor!
Y&J: [Still watching the video Eh, why is the fish not swimming any further?
Bro J: Dunno. Maybe not used to it. Haha, scared.
Y&J: Isn't it worse for him? I mean, in the tank he gets fed, now can he survive or not?
Bro J: I don't know lah. I promise him mah. See his luck lor.
Y&J: [their imaginations stirred] Oh, what he kena caught by someone fishing???
Bro J: [smiles] Must see his luck lor!

We have the best friends ever!

My best friend Kristi just got engaged! I am so excited I can hardly stand it! I just want to do everything myself! I guess I get to plan a wedding all over again..fun fun! We are planning a trip to Chicago for her bachelorette party. I have been trying to call the Oprah show b/c the ticket office just opened back up for the new fall season, but I have been reading some blogs and it seems like I might be up for some serious waiting, calling, waiting and calling some more. I have read some comments that say they have tried for years and cannot get tickets. OMG! I dont know if I can handle it. I love you Oprah but seriously....you are not the POPE!

I will keep you updated on how that goes.

I gotta go, headed to the lake once again! so excited

I've been lazy lately.
GAHH.

cabbed to school for the LAST UT ystr(:
the UT was, rahh, kanasai.
Math&programming sucks lah.
BOO!

Left aft the first meeting,
had breakfast w Drexler&Terry,
& then to City hall with Terry.

Watched MoneyNoEnough2 at Suntec.
&yeah, the show's nice!
& ohh, Natalie's acting in it.
lol.

Show ended at arnd 4 plus,
walked arnd& to esplanade's roof terrace
& library till 7 plus 8.
Then to the outside& Merlion thingy thingy!
hahahaha.
i've either never been to that merlion thing, or been there manymany yrs ago.
hehh.
yepyep.
took train to AMK& then cabbed home agn.

Today!
decided to skip meeting 1.
left hse only at arnd 10am.
& hell, NO CAB LUH!
so CG and i decided to take bus to anywhere to take cab.
& we rlly did end up ANYWHERE.
No cab still. RAHHH.
so we saw LRT& decided to take it.
& the station was like Coral Edge.
we were like WTF!?! where the hell was that??

sososo,
with my brilliant sense of direction,
we took that LRT to punggol& then NEL to Sengkang.
Reached sengkang, and it was alr quite late.
So we decided to take bus to school instead. -_-.
& finally reached school 1 hr after expectiedarrival time:(

so once agn,
since i had alr missed meeting 1& 2,
i decided to skip meeting 3 too, & be "absent" for the day.
had lunch w Shu&Drexler,
went to class to pack my bag
& went to library to meet Terry instead.
Played smelly&old Game of Life, Reversi, Mario& etc,
all the way till the lessons had ended,
which was abt 4.30-4.45pm alr.
& then early dinner w Drexler Shu& wilson.

Went to the sports complex to see the event thingy,
& then left for cell.
