Walkers –Do The Yo-Yo/ May Beautiful You –Philips 6019122 (1974 DK)
Here's another fine Euro-Stomper by Denmark’s Walkers. Do The Yo-Yo has the mother of all crunching beats but with one of the most simpleton-Bier-keller-Sing-a-long choruses you’ll ever get to hear-it even gives Jackpot (Is Everybody Happy) or Yellow Cat (Sissy) a run for their money! There’s also a strange vary-speed/Pitch change effect near the end, it sounds like someone simply sped up the tape manually at the mastering stage…very weird.
I am so sick, I barely slept this night, and as it seemed today in the morning my <3 neither! We got up much too late (nothing new, really!) had breakfast and he went to Uni (I have a free day today so... ) . Went to the pharmacy (it's next door but I really had problems to move my ass this far!) and instead of buying myself some pills for my maladie - I came back home with a whole shopping bag full ofVichy products.. I am such an Idiot. But on the other hand- I simply <3>. It's like Shiseido - the smell is simply heavenly! Jana and Funda are coming back from Roma today ..Huurrraaaaaaay... and I have a rendez-vous with the library in the eve ....hurraaaaay... Wimbledon's in progress (as good as it gets)- under heavy rain- and as far as I know Federer leads with Ancic and Safin is losing ;( Bad!
Pamela Anderson has branded Jessica Simpson a "b***h and w***e". The former 'Baywatch' babe is furious the 'With You' singer wore a T-shirt emblazoned with the slogan, 'Real Girls Eat Meat'. Pammie - an active campaigner for animal rights group PETA - said: "I think she is a b***h and a w***e. Actually, I don't know if she was talking about food or men."
The 40-year-old actress says she is proud to be a vegetarian, insisting it is a good lifestyle choice for everybody. She told an Australian radio show: "I think it's healthy, good for your body and good for the environment." Jessica was recently blasted by PETA for wearing the T-shirt. The blonde beauty - who famously questioned why tuna was nicknamed 'chicken of the sea' on her reality TV show 'Newlyweds' - came under fire from the animal rights group, who urged her to ditch meat to increase her brain power.
A spokesperson for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) said: "Jessica Simpson's meaty wardrobe malfunction makes us thankful that no one is looking to her for food advice. Chicken of the sea anyone? The woman who thought that Buffalo 'Wings' came from buffalos would benefit from some good veggie brain food." Comments(3) PrintMail
