In Defense Of Penang Free School & Caning of Female Students

Despite the fact that the School Authorities of Penang Free School have yet to comment or refute the serious allegations made against it Here http://margeemar.blogspot.com/2011/02/they-cane-form-6-girls-at-penang-free.html#links and Here http://margeemar.blogspot.com/2011/02/why-is-penang-free-school-silent-over.html#links, a number of current and former students appear to have come to the defense of Penang Free School and of its Principal Mr. Ramli Din and Discipline Teacher Madam Sarojini. It is also interesting to note that comments made at LOWYAT FORUM (read here http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1759577/+20#entry40135494 ) appear to support the caning of young adult males and females in schools.

Did not hear anything bout the caning of girls before but,for guys isn't that normal?

Come on in school,you guys are treated as students.No adults or whatever shit.You break the rules,you face the music.

Imagine no school rules for you ADULTS. Improper hair,improper clothing,smoking zone for PFS ADULTS,students come and leave the school whenever they want, etc.

Simple as that,you go to school,you follow the rules.Commit an offence,speak to the cane.If you guys wanna be treated as ADULTS,why get your asses back to form 6?Go to college,go to work,stop schooling.You guys should know very well,you choose form 6,you go back to SCHOOL.

Throughout my 5 years in the Grand Old Lady,I had been dealt by quite a number of discipline teachers be it individually or with a group of friends.They are none other than our hero Mr. Lim Ah Seng,Mr.Chuah Boon Yew(left PFS in 2004),Mr.Veloo(Mrs. Sarojini's husband.left PFS in 2006),Mrs. Sarojini,Mr. Goh Teng Keang(retired) Ustaz Suhaimi and Syamsul Anuar.

Until now I still cannot find a reason to respect Syamsul as he is rude,unfriendly and his face looks like punching bag to me.He shows no sign of respect to students,therefore no students respect him.I have had no problems with all the teachers named before him.They are people whom I look up to with respect.And yes this includes Mrs. Sarojini.

You can hardly find a female discipline teacher in an all-boys-school right?See how huge her responsiblity is.She has to toughen up so that PFS boys do not dominate her.Why?Most of the Frees are a real pain in the ass.Now tell me,how many female teachers can do that,instilling fear amongst rebellious teenage boys?

She had graffitis of her with vulgar remarks all over the school.Almost in every cubicle of the toilet,walls etc.And as seen here,two readers who commented,calling her a bitch.Can you withstand this?Carry on with your responsibilities as a discipline teacher and strive to be better?

Honestly what I can say is,she's actually a nice person.Well yeah,obviously she has to be stern with you right if you get caught for your offence.If she goes, "Boy,why you do this?I give you one more chance.Dont repeat this anymore". Goner,PFS students will see this as a green light to do it again and again.

I bet the one(s) behind this post to defame her and also from the previous comments were all students who got caught for their offence,their case being handled by Mrs. Sarojini ,got caned by her and are now still unhappy about it.Some even hate her for no reason,just to go with the flow.

IMO,it is normal to cane students for their offences.Come on current PFS students are you all not MAN enough to take it?Then why break the rules?We have been through many of it.Students now are more extreme than the ones in the past.Come on,why give the discipline teachers a hard time?They do the right thing and what they get in return is hatred from you guys.
