Court ruled against the Ladies / Sąd zdecydował przeciwko Paniom

I got a letter on facebook from a guy called David Black, who is the administrator of a group called : Include Women Ski Jumpers in the Olympics. It goes as the following
"The BC Supreme Court today came down with its ruling on allowing Women's Ski Jumping in the 2010 Olympics. While the Court found that this is a case of discrimination against the women jumpers, it was beyond the Court's power to compel the IOC, an International body, to hold the event. It also excused the Vancouver Organizing Committee from its duties under Canadian law because the IOC is not subject to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. This is truly a heartbreaking decision which I believe is incorrect. My condolences to the athletes, but also my congratulations for not leaving any stone unturned in their quest to compete and be treated fairly."

Otrzymałam dziś na facebook'u list od administratora pewnej grupy, która nazywa się : Pozwólcie paniom skakać na Olimpiadzie. Facet nazywa się David Black, i w swoim liście napisał, iż kanadyjski Sąd Najwyższy zdecydował generalnie przeciwko- co prawda orzekł, iż to dyskryminacja, ale decyzji KO nie może zmienić. Ponieważ Komitet Olimpijski nie podlega Sądu Najwyższemu w Kanadzie, nawet ten z Vancouver. To strasznie smutne. Nie rozumiem dlaczego partout nie chcą włączyć kobiet w tą dyscyplynę?! Nie mogę tego pojąć. Były już kobiety w F1, biegają maratony, triatlony, zjeżdżają na nartach a skakać nie mogą? Nawet jeśli weźmie udział 10 pań!
