Was working at Barclays Open Singapore @ Sentosa today! Carried umbrella & walk around. Love doing events (only those with pay )!(: Tomorrow will be another day there(: & I'm gonna take more more more more photos! Al lot of angmohs there leh, I like!

Anyway, I got my bill for the Operation which I went for in Sept. Total amount for the whole procedure + hospitalization+ consumables, injections etc etc = $10,189.43. However, the government gives a grant of $995.97, thus the amount payable is only $9837.00 or so.

In my opinion, I feel that even though this op may be costly, It is necessary. So if you've got sweaty palms, just like i did, whether minor or not, GO FOR THE OP! I'll explain......

Even though there may be some would may say that sweaty palms is a minor issue & it wouldn't affect your life etc etc.... I'M TELLING YOU, IT DOES AFFECT YOU!

These were some of the stuff I experienced during my sweaty palms days:
(fyi: my wasn't those jialat sweaty palms cases, but still....)

1) OVERSENSITIVITY
This occurs especially when taking public transport. You know the poles which you hold on to in buses/ trains? When I had sweaty palms, I hated holding on to the poles cos It would sometimes leave watermarks. & even though no one may be looking, I'll never fail to feel as if someone is looking at my palms. This is called, OVERSENSITIVE.

2)INABILITY TO DO SOME NORMAL STUFF.
Some basic stuff like sewing was considered impossible for me. Remember the material that needles are made off? Yeah it sucks, cos after sewing, my needle always turns rusty! feels kinda urghhhh.

3) HATE HATE HATE PAPERS.
I remember that I hated exam papers because sweaty palms+ nervousness = WET EXAM SCRIPT WHICH MAY SOMETIMES HAVE HOLES. the idea of your paper drenched and tearing apart, not too nice eh?

4) HOW TO EVER HANDLE STEERING WHEEL?
Can you imagine, as you're about to turn right at the junction, you just can't grip cos the steering wheel is too slippery!?!? Crashhhhh, goes your car!

5) HANDSHAKES?? ermmmm, no thanks!
I never never liked shaking hands with people unless my hands were dry at the point of time. IDK why, perhaps it had gotta do with my pride issues!

OKAYOKAY, SO YOU SEE, ALL THESE REASONS ARE ENOUGH TO PERSUADE ONE TO UNDERGO THE OP!
& to clarify, after the op, you're hand will be completely dry, COMPLETELY. However, as the body still needs to lose heat from your overly sensitive body, the water will be loss through areas like the back(most common) etc....

As for my case, It mostly went to my back. It sucks, but its far better than sweaty palms because I'll only perspire on the back IF I'M UNDER THE SUN OR FEELING V V V V WARM.
At least its more controllable.

Hugh Jackman Prepares to Pass Sexiest Man Alive Crown

As the one-year reign of Hugh Jackman as PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive winds down, it's time to pass the crown to a new deserving hunk. So who does the Australian screen star, Oscar host and current Broadway leading man want to see take the title next?

"Me! I want to be the first to have it back to back, buddy," Jackman, 41, told PEOPLE's reporter on Friday in New York, while attending the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Concert (set to air on HBO Nov. 29). "That would be fantastic!"

Posh brands solo career a 'mistake'

Victoria Beckham has apparently admitted that her solo singing career was a mistake, albeit one from which she is happy to learn.

The former Spice Girl said that she was "lost" when she teamed up with Truesteppers and Dane Bowers to launch 'Out Of Your Mind' in 2000 following the group's split.

The 35-year-old told Harper's Bazaar: "People never believed the solo singing career, and it wasn't the real me - I was a little bit lost at the time. I don't mind making mistakes."

The mother-of-three has since launched her own clothing collection and said that fashion is her true calling. "I was always pushed into the theatre and dance - it's just taken me a long time to figure out what I wanted to do," she said.

X Factor's Jedward - don't back them to win

People in Britain are always complaining how skint they are - and then go throw away what little dosh they have by backing the Grimes twins to win X Factor.

It emerged this week that the twins were both born three months premature - which you have to say is one hell of a coincidence - but whoever is backing them must have been born yesterday.

Haven't they heard of Chico, Same Difference, and the MacDonald Brothers? All played the twins' role of hopeless contestants who couldn't carry a tune; all eventually perished - generally about a fortnight after newspaper campaigns to keep them in.

The raison d'etre of X Factor is not to unearth a superstar, it is to get you to pick up a phone and vote - assuming you can prise it from your teenage daughter. Creating pantomime villains like John and Edward is key. In the first weeks we voted for everybody else to get them out. Now, after hugely sympathetic stories in the press, we vote for them to get everybody else out, especially if it's Danyl.

Pantomime is good for the show's supremos (because of cash raked in); it's good for Simon Cowell (because he's the show's supremo); and it's good for Louis Walsh (because he's BEHIND YOU).

But the pantomime season is a short one, particularly if Les Dennis is in it, and sooner or later the twins will find they have served their purpose. Three weeks from now the stories about the twins will be negatives ones.

tunnel-visioned tokyo

Tokyo - that's all we'll be seeing this coming week! And that is plenty because it is going to be the week of the Tokyo Designers Week, 100% Design Tokyo, Design Tide at Midtown, the Emerging Directors' Art Fair, the Aosando Art Fair... But of course, J and I are just looking forward to walking in another city.

We'll try and load up the photos here as we go along! Meanwhile design critic J is appalled and depressed by changi airport.

Madonna Is Raising Malawi

Madonna travels with her children Lourdes Leon, Mercy James and David Banda, to vist the Mphandu la Orphanage in the Namitete area outside Lilongwe, Malawi on Thursday (October 29).

The 51-year-old entertainer attended the ground breaking ceremony for the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls.

Madonna recently blogged to urge people to join her cause. “I’m writing to urge you to join me in saving the lives of some of the world’s most vulnerable children. And I’m asking you to do it right away.

Raising Malawi, the organization I co-founded in 2006, is dedicated to ending the poverty and hardship endured by Malawi’s one million orphans. Debt forced Dannii Minogue to strip for Playboy

Dannii Minogue has revealed that she decided to bare all for Playboy mag when she found herself in the midst of a financial crisis after her split with ex-hubby Julian McMahon in 1995. The singer then decided to strip her way to money in order to pay her 150,000-pound debt rather then asking her superstar sis Kylie for help.

"My parents didn't want me to do it. My dad was saying, ''Doing this is forever - you can never, ever change it''," the Daily Express quoted Dannii, as saying.

"Kylie knew why I was doing it - I could have asked her for the money, but it wasn't in my nature. I never wanted to admit the trouble I was in. I should have been looking at my finances,” she said.

She added, "I would never disclose how much - but it had to be a lot to look at my parents'' faces and see the anguish in my dad's eyes.

"I don't regret it, but I feel relieved that people know why I did it - it''s a huge weight off my shoulders. It was actually fun and I did feel liberated. I looked at the pictures and thought, ''I look alright!''

"The magazine was the biggest selling title they''d ever had and they had to reprint. My girlfriends went out to buy it and told me I looked beautiful. It then felt like a celebration of me."

Following an MRI on Wednesday to monitor the evolution of Cristiano Ronaldo’s injury, the pathology report shows that the soft tissues (joint synovitis, tenosynovitis and sprained internal lateral ligament) are healing favorably and that swelling of the bone edema has decreased. Despite this improvement, a minor bone edema has been found in the center of his right ankle. The player must remain inactive until he undergoes another examination in one week’s time.

British squaddie makes good! Following deployment with Her Majesty’s armed forces in Germany, Jon Symon AKA Rasputin set himself up as a one man band playing across Germany and Austria. Following the Sweet Eliza and Mighty Quinn singles as Jon Symon’s One Man Band (BASF) he released this grungy yet gleaming Proto Punk/Glam scorcher. Probably featuring a full band (or does he play all the instruments himself?) the guitars roar and squeal à la Thunders during the break and ably counter-balance any of the gloss conveyed by the backing vocals.
Jon Symon appears to still be playing in clubs these days; in fact there’s a pretty mean one-man rendition of Mona on Youtube. Apart from rockin’ out, the man seems to also have a penchant for the esoteric and dressing up in pirate gear...

watching 'em grow

My brother E, good citizen him, has three kids. E1 is three, E2 is one and M3 is a month old. Each is their own person.

It's been interesting just watching them grow and express their personality. E1 is gentle and agreeable ("You try. It's good. Try.") E2 is observant and a quick storm. M3 is a small parcel that sleeps and poops. So far. And it is easy to imagine the joy associated with parenthood. Brother E's is obvious. A typical conversation in the car as Brother E drives us home after dinner on Sundays goes like this:

Bro E: I gotta think using about a different strategy with E2.
J&Y: Yah, they are so different!
Bro E: With E1, once I smacked him on the backside a little harder. I just wanted to test how far to go. Experiment, haha. And he immediately knows he has done something that has made me more angry than usual.
J&Y: Aiyah, he's a softie.
Bro E: But with E2, it's different. If I just slap his hand when he does something wrong, he hits me back! It's like monkey see monkey do still.
J&Y: Hmm, he's a fierce one.
Bro E: ... I must think about it some more, use a different strategy.
J&Y:...
Bro E: You know, it's nice seeing how E1 has changed in the last 3 weeks. He used to just ignore his little brother. But yesterday, while we we out on a walk, he suddenly just kissed E2 on the head! It's nice, seeing him learn to relate to his little brother and show his love.

Awww. But no, we have not changed our minds about not having our own. That's three negatives in one sentence.

Jesus. Has anyone told this girl, “Before you answer a question, just stop and think about the words you are about to say. Just think about what it sounds like.” Because this sounds like Megan wants to teach little girls how to act sexy. No, thanks, Megan. You’re not Miley Cyrus! Besides that, I think the reason Megan thinks “sexiness” is power is because that’s all she’s got. Just FYI, to all young girls out there - intelligence, education, self-respect, grace, humor, talent, compassion and humility are also pretty powerful weapons in the arsenal of modern womanhood too.

In this interview, Megan loses the graciousness she had at the Scream Awards, and instead snots out this gem: “This is a bull—- industry and I made a decision not to be a bull—- person. I need to hold onto my soul and my integrity and I can’t compromise that.” Right. Because whenever I hear the word “integrity”, Megan’s face always floats up.

Earlier this year, her comments to a magazine journalist that Michael Bay, who directed her in the two Transformers movies, is “like Hitler” on his sets prompted an angry response from three crew members who called her “dumb as a rock”, before going on to dismiss her as “thankless, classless, graceless [and] unfriendly”.

Fox shrugs off the criticism, when I meet her in Toronto – where her new movie, the demonic-possession horror-comedy Jennifer’s Body is getting its world premiere. “I’ve definitely said some things that I shouldn’t say,” she admits. “I sometimes forget how things will translate once they are in print. But this is a bull—- industry and I made a decision not to be a bull—- person. I need to hold onto my soul and my integrity and I can’t compromise that.”

“It was a difficult movie to make because I was under a lot of pressure to do Diablo’s script justice,” says Fox, “so I was nervous about that. I was always questioning myself and trying to bring some real elements to Jennifer. I wanted people to feel empathy for her; I wanted her to be a real person, and not a caricature, like some of the characters I may have played in the past.”

Asked what she makes of the “Sexiest Woman in the World” label, Fox laughs. “I don’t take any notice of those polls. I take it with a grain of salt. I think that because I was in a movie [Transformers] that made $800 million, they threw me on the top of the list.” But what about her remark to Esquire that “I’m just really confident sexually and I think that sort of oozes out of my pores?”

She sighs. “Sometimes I say things that I think are obviously sarcastic and people take them quite literally. In America we’re still very uptight about sexuality: it’s considered scandalous for women to be sexual or speak about sex in a humorous way,” she says.

“For some reason it makes people very uncomfortable, possibly because our society is still very tied to archaic biblical principles that we try to force on each other and force on our children. It’s very unfortunate because men are embraced for their sexual prowess and women discouraged from it.”

“In Europe, women are celebrated for their sexuality and appreciated for it. There you can still be both sexy and intelligent. Go figure.”

While another actress might bemoan the fact that being named the sexiest woman alive would hinder her goal of becoming “A Serious Actress”, Fox says: “I didn’t decide I’m going to be an actress because I want to be respected for how I play chess. I don’t think men approach me for intellectual conversation. I’m definitely labelled in the pin-up category and I haven’t given people a reason to take my work seriously yet.”

In the past, Fox has been outspoken about being bisexual and having had an affair with a stripper while in her teens. But, for the past five years, she has been in a monogamous relationship with actor Brian Austin Green, who is 13 years her senior.
When discussing Green, Fox suddenly, unexpectedly, begins to cry; then she dabs her eyes with a tissue, smiles and apologises. “Man, I just get emotional,” she says. You don’t come across a lot of genuine people in this industry and I feel blessed to have someone who will stick around through my bull—-”

“I just really want it at some point to be OK for women and young girls to be sexy because I think that’s a power, a gift that we were given by God or the universe or whatever,” she says. “I think I’m a different kind of role model for young girls.” She thinks for a minute and adds with a smile: “But maybe not the kind America is comfortable with.”
