Britney Spears' Suggestive New Song

Britney Spears' Suggestive New SongBritney Spears new song is about having a threesome.

The 'Womanizer' singer - who is known for wearing revealing, skin-flashing outfits on stage - has penned a track called '3' which suggests she likes being intimate with two lovers at the same time.

On the track, Britney sings: "Three is a charm / Two is not the same / I don't see the harm / So are you game?"

The chorus continues: "One, two, three / Not only you and me / Got one eighty degrees / And I'm caught in between.

"Countin' one, two, three / Peter, Paul and Mary / Getting' down with 3P / Everybody loves ***."

The racy song is due to appear on Britney's upcoming LP 'The Singles Collection'.

This is not the first time Britney's career has taken a provocative twist.

The 27-year-old star - who as a teenager said she wouldn't have sex before marriage - is currently on the road with her steamiest world tour to date.

Virgin Prunes was a Dublin, Ireland goth band whose members were childhood friends of Bono and The Edge from U2. In fact, their guitarist was Dik Evans, brother of U2's Dave "The Edge" Evans. Shakane –Jenny

Shakane –Jenny/ Gang Man –UA UP 36087 (1976 UK)
Unless proved otherwise, this is probably the last single as released by the prolific Shakane. Written for the band by Smith & D’abo, Jenny is the sound of a band going all out for a hit, but with a spectorian Rockfield production by Kingsley Ward from the famed converted barn where Edmunds and The Flamin’ Groovies created their classic sounds. The song itself is a fine Rubettes-like number that should have garnered at the very least heavy Radio 1 play, but it wasn’t to be... The B side is the sublime Gang Man that was recorded two years previously –hear it here: http://purepop1uk.blogspot.com/2009/08/shakane-gang-man.html

I believe there was an EP released in Sweden under an assumed name where Shakane covered a Gary Glitter song. Any more information on that release ...Bob?

Hear A Full Version of Jenny

You never fail to make me laugh...

Three years ago on this day, you set pulled off the biggest surprise of my life. I had never been as happy as I was in that very moment.... I saw the ring, I saw your face, and I knew we had the ride of a lifetime ahead of us. You are truly my best friend, my love....my JoJo. Daddy had a feeling that you were the one for me, he knew the second he met you, that you would take care of his little girl, and I know he is looking down on us everyday...and I know you have exceeded his expectations.

Thank you for all you do everyday to make our lives better. I hope you know how proud I am of you; you never cease to amaze me with your drive and hard work.

I am so lucky to have you by my side for the last seven years.

Here is to the next seventy.

"Whatever it is souls are made of, yours and mine are the same."
Love, Mo

A love supreme

tractor turtle
time project #14. Turtle and machine.

Secretary: Boss, do you know your business has just turned three? Praise God!
Boss Amps: Has it? Wow!
Secretary: Yah... er, still no time to put up the website proper huh?
Boss Amps: Clients' work come first mah.
Secretary: Yah, we're man, not machine.
Boss Amps: ...
Secretary: In the spirit of that, boss, I thought this year's annual report should not be about all that boring stuff. You know, how's work? what are the future plans? what was your favouritest project. Machines are slowly taking over all that. Let's talk about human stuff. Like music. After all, we're made to make music, the sublime stuff.
Boss Amps:It would be nice to play a musical instrument. Like after a day's work.
Secretary: What musical instrument do you play, boss?
Boss Amps: None.
Secretary: Ah. But say you could. What would it be?
Boss Amps: ...
Secretary: The trumpet? Miles Davis style.
Boss Amps: Yah, I did think about that years ago. But you know, it'll make my cheeks even puffier.
Secretary: ...
Boss Amps: Now I've been thinking...the double bass.
Secretary: Double bass! Just what I want to play!
Boss Amps: It's illegal for short people to play the double bass.
Secretary: It's a cool instrument anyway.
Boss Amps: Agree. Like the opening double bass in John Coltrane's A Love Supreme.
Secretary: Yah, best 4-note motif. Best jazz album ever.

So friends, that wraps up the third year for amps' design studio.

Watch a short recording of Coltrane's quartet in a 1965 performance below. You can listen to the first "track" of the 33min album here, but depending on your computer's speakers, you may not get much of a bass. So it's best to get the album of the 1964 studio recording with a copy of the original liner notes. In it, there's Coltrane's foreword and his psalm "A Love Supreme" which he "narrates" in music - wordlessly and so perfectly.

Tom Robinson - Now Martin's Gone
