A fabulous weekend at Beaver

Joseph and I had a fabulous weekend! We finally took our boat up to Beaver to go to Jeff and Kathy's lake house. They have always been our official lake buddies on Ouchita but now that they have thier OWN house, they are always trying to get us to come up to Beaver! We are soooo happy we did! It was a beautiful weekend...a little chilly when the boat was cruising, but once we stopped, it was just perfect! We got to see a good friend of ours..JJ and his new wife. He never fails to impress all of us with his crazy wakeboarding skills and Joseph was happy to see that he can still hang with the best of them...even though he knows he isnt quite as good (according to Joseph he isnt as good...but I think Joseph is amazing)...he loves to learn new tricks and it is nice to ride with someone who really knows so much about the sport.


I also got to see my bestie Kristi, who just returned from her honeymoon. She is officially a married woman and I am so excited to share our lives with all of our wonderful friends!
We always laugh so hard when we are all four together and this wkend was nothing but halarious. I just love how easy it is to be with them and I know we will all four be friends forever! We love you Jeff and Kathy! Cant wait until St. Louie!! wooo hoo!

Pussycat Dolls split in row over Scherzinger?

American pop girls group The Pussycat Dolls has called it a day, amid jealous rows over the rising profile of lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, girlfriend of British motor racing ace Lewis Hamilton.

Band member Kimberly Wyatt confirmed Saturday that the group were taking a long break to consider their future, fuelling speculation that it's all over for the band who formed in LA in 2003, reports mirror.co.uk.

"The girls and I have just finished our huge world tour and are taking a break from the band and doing our own thing... We're all concentrating on our own projects and deciding what the future will hold," said Wyatt.

Rumours are rife that tensions have been mounting in the Pussycat camp for several months. The five-member ensemble has been divided by jealousy over the star treatment being meted out to their lead singer.

Earlier this year Scherzinger, 31, was singled out for special mention on the group's "Slumdog Millionaire" single "Jai jo", which was billed as The Pussycat Dolls featuring Nicole Scherzinger.

In September of 1981, Dead Kennedys released the 8-song EP, In God We Trust. It contained the single, "Nazi Punks Fuck Off". On the original version on tape, Side A contained all 8 songs, with Side B being left intentionally blank. Printed on Side B was the explanation, "Home taping is killing record industry profits! We left this side blank so you can help"

Shakane –Gang Man/Chicago to L.A. –Young Blood International YB 4505 (1974 Italian issue)
Gang Man is probably the rarest Shakane single out there, possibly only released in Italy. Both tracks aren’t featured on their Sonet or Young Blood LPs, but Gang Man does re-appear as the B side of their Rubettes-like 1976 UA/Rockfield single Jenny. Gang Man is a killer thudding piece of Boogie Glam with some ace power chords and cutting guitar. It has a slight Rockpile feel to it as well (remember they covered Trevor Burton’s Down Down Down in pure Edmunds mode). Gang Man certainly sounds louder here than on the UA release, but both versions appear identical save for a slightly longer fade, so you can probably put the sonic differences down to the mastering. Kingsley Ward (Rockfield owner with Charles Ward) takes production ownership on the 1976 release, but here is the production is credited to Mikki Dallon. Chicago To L.A. somehow reminds me of Belgo Glamsters The Garnets. Again full kudos are due to the guitar moves.
